OKC Police Assisting In Escaped Inmate Search

The Oklahoma City Police Department announced they are assisting U.S. Marshals in the search for an escaped inmate.

OCPD said they were searching Tuesday morning near Southeast 59th Street and South Bryant Avenue, but the scene has since been cleared.

Police said the inmate they are searching for is Joey Mena, who escaped from the Bill Johnson Correctional Center in Alva on Saturday.

Police believe that Mena is with Michelle Kjeldgaard, 27.

Anyone with any information regarding their whereabouts is asked to call 911.
