Bill Establishing Raises For Oklahoma Educators Passed By State Senate

A bill that would provide up to a $6,000 raise to teachers across Oklahoma was passed by the state senate on Wednesday.

The bill said beginning with the 2023-2024 school year, teachers will receive an increased minimum salary.

The bill moves now to the house, where representatives wish to include an additional pay raise depending on class sizes.
