1 Person In Custody After Allegedly Barricading Themselves Inside Home With Dead Body

Breaking News Update 4:32 p.m. 3/25/23:

Police say one person is in custody on Saturday after they allegedly barricaded themselves in a home with a body inside.

According to police, the OCPD tactical team was able to breach the front door of the home in northwest Oklahoma City and that is when the individual surrendered to police.

Police say after entering the home, officers found the body.

Authorities say a homicide investigation is now underway/

A large police presence has been reported at a home in northwest Oklahoma City Saturday afternoon.

When police arrived, one person had barricaded themselves in the home.

Police have a large perimeter set up near North Chicago Street and Northwest 40th Street.
