New video has surfaced surrounding a weekend officer-involved shooting in Moore that left one man dead.
News 9 obtained neighborhood surveillance video that captured part of the incident including audio from Saturday's officer involved shooting.
In it, Brian Payne is heard telling officers he wanted to harm himself.
Payne: I'm going to kill myself!
Police: Drop it!
Payne: I'm going to kill myself!
Police: He's jumping, he's jumping, he's jumping!
Five seconds later, in police bodycam video shared by Moore Police to social media, police fired what sounded like four gunshots.
After a brief pause, a fifth shot can be heard, as Payne, who police said was armed with a knife, appeared to be lying on the ground.
After the final shot, in neighborhood surveillance video, Payne is heard again.
Payne: I'm going to die!
A clip of the same video, void of any audio, was later shared by police.
“We wanted to update you with a recent event of an officer involved shooting,” said Moore Police Captain David Seay.
Moore police shared details and parts of the bodycam video surrounding the officer involved shooting to Facebook.
According to police, an officer was patrolling Moore's hotel district early Saturday morning.
“He observed an occupied suspicious vehicle that was backed into the parking spot,” said Seay.
After the officer found Payne in the backseat, police said the officer observed the vehicle's steering column had been concealed.
“The steering column was busted causing him to suspect that the car may be stolen,” said Seay.
Police said, after confirming the vehicle stolen, backup was called and Payne was ordered out of the vehicle.
Once out of the car, Payne told officers he had a weapon.
Payne: I got a knife, I think…
The chase immediately followed. Payne is seen on video running to a residential fence that police said he attempted to climb. Unable to, police said he came toward the officer with a knife.
“The subject raised the knife over his head and advanced towards the officer with a knife, in a threatening manner,” said Seay.
Payne's friends told News 9 he had some trouble but was trying to turn his life around.
This shooting remains under investigation.
