OG&E Releases Update On Power Outages In Service Area After Wildfire Outbreak

OG&E provided an update Saturday morning after a wildfire outbreak caused many power outages across the state.

OG&E said power would be restored for most customers by early afternoon, and power for all customers should be restored by 9 p.m. Saturday.

As of 9 a.m., about 900 customers are still without power, according to OG&E.

The powerful winds on Friday caused damage to at least 50 power poles, lines and equipment in their service area.
