Former President Donald Trump is in New York on the eve of his expected arraignment on criminal charges being brought by the Manhattan District Attorney, reportedly related to the falsification of business records.

Trump is expected to turn himself into authorities on Tuesday. He flew on his private plane from Florida earlier Monday and he’s spending the night at Trump Tower uptown.

There is a very significant police presence, not to mention a very significant media presence.

This is an unprecedented event in American history, as it's the first time a sitting or former President is being charged with a crime.

The charges, which will be unsealed Tuesday, stem on from hush money payments made during his 2016 campaign.

Trump has consistently denied doing anything wrong, continues to insist this is a politically motivated witch hunt, and plans to plead not guilty Tuesday, according to his attorneys.

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene will reportedly help lead a pro-Trump rally just before he arrives.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams has urged all demonstrators to be on their best behavior.
