OTA Approves Funding For Turner Turnpike Platepay

The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority approved more than $500,000 to go towards converting the Turner Turnpike to Platepay for toll payments.

Additionally, OTA also approved raising speed limits from 75 mph to 80 mph on some parts of the H.E. Bailey, Cimarron and Muskogee Turnpikes during Tuesday's meeting.

The OTA said the speed limit changes will take place after cable barriers and new signage have been installed.
