Oklahoma City and Moore fire crews responded to two neighboring houses that caught fire at around 11 p.m. Thursday.

Firefighters said they received a call from a homeowner near South Western Avenue and Southwest 134th Street after the caller said they noticed their fence was on fire.

By the time firefighters arrived on scene, fire crews said the fire had spread to the homes nearby.

"It was generating enough heat and fire that it extended to the house to the south as well," OKCFD District Chief Andrew McCann said. "We have moderate fire damage to the original house and minor fire damage to the second house."

According to authorities, everyone inside the homes were able to get out by themselves.

There were no injuries reported, but fire investigators are still working to determine a cause.
