A 911 call Friday night sent more than 100 officers to the University of Oklahoma. These officers came from all over the state within minutes of the RAVE push alert going out.

“Whether they're federal, tribal, state, county, municipalities they’re all coming. That ought to give confidence to everybody in the state of Oklahoma. Even the bad guys, we’re coming and we’re coming very aggressively,” Trooper Eric Foster said.
Officers searched the campus and entered the school library where several students were hiding inside.
Businesses near campus corner, like the O’Connell’s Irish Pub, were hunkering down.
“We did lock all the doors. We did keep somebody posted at the front door to allow people in or out if they would like,” Jeff Stewart said.
Stewart said he wasn't too worried because there was a swarm of officers outside his door.
“I felt very safe. I hadn't ever been through anything like that, and I hope I never do,” Stewart said.
“We physically look for evidence, we physically look for stimuli so anything hearing, seeing, smelling anything that we think will indicate that type of crime and there was no evidence there,” Foster said.
The University released a statement saying this was a swatting call made from outside the country.
“It's dangerous. Number one it's a felony in the state of Oklahoma you would be prosecuted so aggressively because it is so dangerous,” Foster said.
News 9 reached out to OU police for more information like whether there will be an arrest made. We have not heard back.
