OKC Police Respond To Domestic Situation, Engage In Brief Manhunt

Oklahoma City Police responded to a domestic incident at around 12 a.m. Wednesday that turned into a manhunt in the northwestern part of the city.

Officers on scene said they arrived at a residence near Northwest 36th Street and North Barnes Avenue looking to sort out a domestic call they had received.

Investigators said a woman involved in the incident said a man who was also involved had a firearm.

Officers then said the man pointed a gun at them and immediately went to track the man down.

Oklahoma City police used a helicopter and K( unit, and were eventually able to apprehend the man.

According to OCPD, no weapon was found.
