An Oklahoma woman has been sentenced for aggravated possession and distribution of child pornography.

Savannah Hawthorne was sentenced to serve 25 years with the last seven years suspended.

Detective Wheeler with the Stillwater Police Department received a tip on Nov. 2, 2021 that indicated Twitter identified child pornography on their network.

Information that was collected from Twitter indicated that the suspect had possession of child pornography and was seeking buyers for distribution.

An investigation led to Hawthorne being identified as the suspect.

With the assistance from the Enid Police Department and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, Stillwater detectives served a search warrant at Hawthorne’s home in Enid.

Hawthorne, 22, was arrested for distribution and possession of child sexual abuse material on June 3, 2022, according to Stillwater Police.
