Family Remembers Grandfather Who Was Killed In Cole Tornado

A Cole family is heartbroken after their grandfather died in Wednesday's tornado.

Mike Bradsher raised is family at his home in Cole. Now all that's left is piles of debris.

"It's kind of weird, like I don't fully have my bearings, because I'm so used to landmarks being here," said Kaelye Bradsher, Mike's granddaughter. "Literally everything we had... is gone."

Bradsher's family shares fond memories of him.

"He was our champion, he loved us. He was always proud of us," said Kaelye. "He was always rooting for us."

Mike's dog led the family to where Mike was.

Mike is remembered as a helping hand, not only for his family, but for the community.

"He did anything for us," said Kaelye. "Anytime we needed our oil changed or tires fixed or something, he would do it right there on his concrete slab."

The Cole community is now returning the favor, helping Mike's family clean up after the storm.
