Man Arrested In Connection To Deadly Stabbing In Stillwater, Police Say

A suspect has been arrested in connection to a deadly stabbing incident in Stillwater that happened on Saturday, April 15.

Police said they arrested Michael Angus Bigheart, 41, on Friday, April 21. The victim, 35-year-old Justin Springer of Stillwater, died as a result of the stabbing, police said. A first-degree murder charge was filed against Bigheart, police said.

Police said they arrested Bigheart in Skiatook on Friday morning and transported him to the Stillwater jail. This case is still under investigation by SPD Criminal Investigations Division and anyone with information is asked to call (405) 533-8477.
