1 Killed In Shooting At Stillwater Club; Payne County Authorities Investigating

One man was killed in a shooting outside the Blue Diamond Cabaret in Stillwater, Oklahoma, according to investigators from the Payne County Sheriff's Office.

The victim has been identified as 21-year-old Marco Deleon, who was from Texas and working in the oil field industry, authorities say.

The shooting occurred in the parking lot of the Blue Diamond Cabaret a few miles from downtown Stillwater, overnight, according to PCSO.

Investigators say that an argument between two men led to a physical altercation, which turned deadly when the suspect shot Deleon multiple times.

Deleon was pronounced dead at the scene.

PCSO says the suspect fled the scene in a truck after the shooting.

Sheriff Joe Harper of Payne County is urging anyone who was at the club that night to contact the department with any information they may have.

"We're asking anybody that hasn't talked to us yet, whether they think it's of no importance or not, it may give us more information. Be able to put out a better description. We did seize the surveillance equipment and plan to get a warrant for that," said Sheriff Harper.

Investigators plan to obtain surveillance video from the Blue Diamond Cabaret this week in hopes of getting a better description of the suspect.
