The man accused of shooting and killing two people at random has been charged with murder, according to court documents.

Carlton Gilford, 61 has now been charged with two counts of murder and two counts of shooting with intent to kill for a pair of shootings on April 18 at the Rudisill Regional Library and a nearby QuikTrip. Gilford was denied bond by a Tulsa County Judge on Wednesday.

According to Police, Girlford went into the Library, walked up behind Lundin Hathcock, 35, who was sitting at a desk and shot him in the back of the head. As police were responding to shooting calls at the library, TPD says Gilford went to the QuikTrip at Pine and Peoria, where he shot James McDaniel, 55, in the back of the head and once more while he was on the ground. Officers say when they got to the gas station, the Gilford was just standing outside with what looked like a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Police say Gilford admitted to police that he had shot two people.
