2 Arrested, Accused Of Child Neglect In Edmond

Two people were arrested on Saturday on child neglect complaints in Edmond, Oklahoma.

Edmond Police said they responded to the scene at around 10 a.m. near West 15th Street and Fretz Avenue.

When police arrived, they found a 3-year-old who had an old diaper on with feces coming out of it, police said.

Both parents were asleep at the time police arrived, according to police.

Police also noted that they found the residence in disarray, and there was a dead duck found floating in the bathtub.

Officers noted that marijuana and other hazards were seen to be easily accessible to the child at the residence, police said.

The 3-year-old was released to other family members, and DHS has been notified.

Brittany and Bryan Bridges were both arrested and booked on the complaint of child neglect.
