Pursuit Through Mustang, Oklahoma City Leads To Crash, Arrest

One person is in custody after a pursuit that began Tuesday morning near South Morgan Road and State Highway 152.

The Mustang Police Department, Oklahoma Highway Patrol and Oklahoma City Police were all involved in the chase that came to an end after a crash near North Western Avenue and Interstate 40.

Police said they were checking on the suspect's welfare before he fled from officers.

Christopher Council, the suspect in the pursuit, was arrested and booked on the complaints of endangering others while eluding a police officer, driving under the influence of alcohol and escaping from arrest or detention for felony.
