1 Shot In NW Oklahoma City Walmart Parking Lot

One person was shot Tuesday night in the parking lot of a Walmart in northwest Oklahoma City, according to police.

Oklahoma City Police said they responded to the scene at around 9:15 p.m. near North Classen and Belle Isle boulevards in reference to an assault with a deadly weapon call.

The caller said that they were walking through the Walmart parking lot when they got shot in the neck.

When police arrived on scene, they found the victim with a small hole on the side of his neck.

The victim told police that he was riding his bike near the Penn Square Mall exit when he saw a man with a beard and a short female involved in a domestic dispute.

The victim then told police that he went over to the couple to break up the argument when he was shot.

No arrests have been made in connection to this incident.
