21-Year-Old Dead After Motorcycle Crash In Luther

A 21-year-old man is dead after he crashed a motorcycle into a cow Thursday night in Luther, police said.

The crash happened at around 11:44 p.m. near Hogback Road and Northeast 150th Street.

Oklahoma City Police said Maverick Wayne Reidel, 21, was traveling westbound on a motorcycle when he hit a black cow standing in the roadway.

Reidel wasn’t wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
