The family of a teen murdered in Midwest City continues to navigate their loss one week after their loved one was gunned down.
Calvin Walker, or "Junior" as his loved ones called him, was just 17 when he was killed Saturday near NW 10th and Air Depot.
Oklahoma City Police said a "disturbance" led to shots being fired and his uncle Elijah Fredrickson told News 9 that family members heard the shots, took cover and then found his body when they walked outside.
Police said several people were seen running from the scene and Lyft driver Delbert Alt was the one who picked them up.
"That's the thing, you don't know who you're picking up," Alt said.
Minutes into the ride, Alt's cameras inside the car show police closing in to pull them over before taking them into custody.
"I told them as we were pulling into the parking lot of the apartment complex that we were being pulled over and I didn't know why," Alt said.
Loved ones like Fredrickson just want peace.
"We just want to lay him down to rest because that's what he deserves," he said.
They also want everyone to remember Calvin Walker Jr.
"Even though this was a negative situation, there was a positive person in this situation and that's Jr.," Fredrickson said.
