Silver Alert Canceled After 77-Year-Old Edmond Woman Located

UPDATE 10:30 a.m.: The Silver Alert for a 77-year-old woman from Edmond has been canceled after she was located safe, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has activated a Silver Alert on behalf of the Edmond Police Department for a missing 77-year-old woman.

OHP said Ruth Avery was last seen on at around 2 p.m. Tuesday near North Kelly Avenue and Mesa Trail in Edmond.

Avery is 5'7", and weighs roughly 150 pounds.

OHP also said Avery may be driving a 2007 white Toyota RAV4, with license plate number AMH044

Authorities said Avery has been diagnosed with dementia and does not have her medication.

OHP said if you see Avery, call 911.
