Death Row inmate Richard Glossip will not be executed on Thursday as originally scheduled.
The Department of Corrections says he has been removed from the execution protocol after the Supreme Court put his execution on hold earlier this month.

Glossip has had several execution dates after being convicted twice for killing Oklahoma City businessman Barry Van Treese in 1997.
Two juries have convicted Glossip, saying he orchestrated Van Treese's murder. But dozens of Oklahoma lawmakers, celebrities and current Attorney General Gentner Drummond say that conviction should be thrown out over questions about the key witness and the fairness of the trials.

Glossip's fate now rests in a future ruling by the Supreme Court.
There is currently, no word on when that decision could come down.
