Todd Lamb Named Next President Of UCO

Todd Lamb has been named the next president for the University of Central Oklahoma.

Todd Lamb has been named the next president of the University of Central Oklahoma.

The Board of Regents for the Regional University System named Lamb as the 22nd president of the university.

Lamb will begin his presidency on July 1, 2023, replacing Andrew Benton, who has been the interim president since January 2023.

Lamb was an Oklahoma Senator, who served from 2005 to 2011, before he was elected as the lieutenant governor for Oklahoma from 2011 to 2019.

In a press release on the university's website, former UCO President Roger Webb released the following statement:

“Todd Lamb is a hardworking and dedicated leader in our state. His ability to navigate complexities, inspire innovation and forge strong partnerships will be crucial in propelling the university toward a bright future."

RUSO Board of Chairperson Connie Reilly released the following statement in the press release:

“Lamb's experience in financial management will be an asset to the university’s commitment to fiscal responsibility and exploring new fundraising avenues."
