Trial Scheduled For Edmond Man Involved In January Standoff

Lawyers for a man charged with murdering a woman in Edmond and refusing to surrender to police are due in court today.

Prosecutors said Bernard Caldwell killed his wife, then began a standoff with officers back in January.

Caldwell eventually surrendered and was jailed.

Caldwell remains in custody on a first-degree murder and gun charge.
