6 Arrested In Metro Massage Parlor Sting Operation

Six people were arrested Monday in a massage parlor sting operation, police said. All six suspects face possible charges of offering to engage in prostitution and being an unlicensed massage therapist.

Those arrested include Cheng Yanchun, Fengyun Herrman, Lin Fang Fang, Yang Meiqun, Chen Jiao and Xiuqiong Wei, according to the affidavit.

Police conducted the operation on six massage parlors: four near Northwest 23rd Street and North Rockwell Avenue, and two near Northwest 39th Expressway and North Council Road.

In each instance, an undercover investigator entered the massage parlor and paid for the massage, according to the affidavit. The suspect then attempted to engage in sexual acts with the investigator, at which point the investigator broke contact with the suspect. Officers then entered the massage parlor and arrested the suspect. According to the affidavit, the investigation happened similarly at each massage parlor.
