Videos posted on social media foreshadowed an Oklahoma City woman’s deadly confrontation with law enforcement. News 9 obtained TikTok videos 44-year-old Shari Vincent posted days and hours prior to when she was shot and killed by a U.S. Marshal. The deadly officer-involved shooting happened on Wednesday evening in a northwest Oklahoma City neighborhood.
“So, get ready guys, the real funs starting. Supposedly, the U.S. Marshals have been asking my neighbors about me and my blue car,” said Shari Vincent in a TikTok post.
Vincent's car was seen from Sky News 9 after an attempted traffic stop turned into a pursuit with the U.S. Marshals and Oklahoma City police. Residents near Northwest 48th Street and Warren Avenue heard the aftermath.
“I heard the pop, pop, pop, pop,” said Valerie Walker, witness. “And I knew it was too late then, that the chase had indeed ended.”
Police said a U.S. Marshal rammed Vincent's car to end the pursuit and then fired at the 44-year-old suspect after she pulled out a gun. Bullet holes riddled the suspect's front windshield but did not harm the woman's dog that was inside the vehicle. The dog was taken from the scene by animal control.
A warrant out of Cleveland County prompted law enforcement to go after Vincent. Police said she was wanted for stalking and damaging a man's property. Video of the incident was posted on social media. Earlier this week Vincent directed a TikTok video at the victim.
“Bring it on Andrew if you think I’m scared of the U.S. Marshals you got another thing comin,” said Vincent.
The local U.S. Marshals office has not released the agent’s name involved in the deadly shooting or any further details.
