OU Basketball Adds Georgia Tech Transfer Jalon Moore

Sooners basketball coach Porter Moser continues to retool his roster after a disappointing 2022-23 season, his second as OU head coach.

On Tuesday, the Sooners picked up Georgia Tech transfer Jalon Moore. He spent two seasons in Georgia, starting 16 games while averaging 7.6 points, 4.7 rebounds and 0.8 assists last season, according to Sports Reference.

Moore is a 6-foot-7 forward entering his junior year with the Sooners. He weighs 209 pounds and is from Birmingham, Alabama, according to ESPN.

He joins a handful of newcomers on the OU roster next season that include John Hugley IV, Rivaldo Soares, Le'Tre Darthard, Javian McCollum and new assistant coach Armon Gates.
