Family Member Of Saint Francis Shooting Victim Files Lawsuit Against Hospital

A family member of one of the four victims of the Saint Francis shooting in Tulsa is suing the hospital, documents show.

The daughter of William Love has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Saint Francis.

The lawsuit says the hospital knew people could freely enter the patient area of the Natalie Building, knew the shooter was unhappy with his surgery, knew the propensity for disgruntled patients to pose a danger, but didn't warn patients of that danger.

It accuses the hospital of not providing enough people for security and not training employees on how to protect visitors.

It says based on past incidents, the hospital should've known the potential for violence, yet it didn't take any actions to prevent it.

Saint Francis said it's against its policy to comment on any type of open case or litigation.
