High Winds Cause Train To Derail In Garfield County

High winds caused a train to derail overnight in Fairmont.

Garfield County Emergency Management said 12 box cars have been blown off the tracks, but there were no injuries, and currently, no hazards as well.

County emergency management also said the Fairmont Fire Department's radio communications tower has been damaged as a result of the derailment.
