Woman Killed In SW Oklahoma City Driveway Crash Identified By Police

The woman who was killed in a driveway crash Saturday night in southwest Oklahoma City has been identified by police.

Two suspects were traveling eastbound on Southwest 40th Street at a high rate of speed when they ran a stop sign and hit a motorcycle, according to Oklahoma City Police. The motorcycle rider was transported to the hospital, police said.

The vehicle then continued eastbound when they crashed into a Jeep with a family of three inside, who were backing into their driveway, police said.

The driver killed in the crash has been identified as 34-year-old Mayra Calderon, police said.

The husband and 7-year-old son were both transported to the hospital, according to police.

The two suspects attempted to run from the scene, but police were able to locate the passenger. The passenger has been identified as 37-year-old Cristian Castillo, and he was arrested, police said.

The driver is still outstanding at this time, according to police. Police have not released any information about that suspect.

The investigation into both crashes is still ongoing.
