According to the victim, she was running errands with her one-year-old grandson when they were relentlessly chased by Brigette Tyler, who police confirmed was armed with a gun.

The woman said she was left in disbelief after she learned Tyler would not be arrested, but instead was issued a ticket.

Victim: I'm shaking all over!
Police: Are you hurt at all ma'am?
Victim: No, but she was going to shoot me!

In March, the victim, who did not want to be identified, raced into a Sam’s Club parking lot in an effort to get away from Brigette Tyler, who was close behind.

“I thought I’m fleeing to safety. I’m going to be safe once I get into Sam’s, but low and behold, I heard her tires screeching, she did the same thing. She still had the gun and is chasing me in Sam’s," said the victim.

According to the woman, for reasons unknown, Tyler chased her half a mile through multiple lights and turns.

“She’s like err, err, err! I said oh my God! Haley, you need to call police, this lady is crazy!” said the woman.

The woman said she was on the phone with her daughter when she dropped her phone.

“I’m like Siri call 911! Siri call 911!” said the woman.

The woman’s frantic daughter can be overheard on a 911 call pleading with another family member for help.

911: Call my mom, call my mom! She told me to call the cops, I don’t know where she is hurry! Hurry!
911: I’m not sure what’s going on, the call got disconnected.

A good Samaritan intervened and later comforted the victim. She stayed at the scene until police arrived.

“I could tell every time she was switching lanes he was doing the same thing. It was back and forth. I said to my car load, remember that tag number because if something happens I want to be able to do something,” said the witness.

Police later located Tyler. She was issued a ticketed and her gun was seized.

“The thing that I regret the most, out of how this ended, is I don’t feel like she paid for her crime,” said the woman.

Midwest City Police told News 9 the victim and suspect gave two different accounts, and said they did everything they could with the information they had.

Ballistics tests later connected Tyler’s gun to a road rage shooting in Oklahoma City.

According to court filings the gun used by Tyler in both incidents is a personal gun that belongs to her boyfriend, an Oklahoma County deputy.
