The Oklahoma City Police Department announced six officers will return to work after the Oklahoma County District Attorney dropped charges in several officer-involved shootings.
The six officers have been on paid administrative leave since the end of 2020. Police Chief Wade Gourley said their return to work will take some time.
Five officers were charged after the fatal shooting of Stavian Rodriguez, and one officer was charged after for the death of Bennie Edwards. They were not allowed to return to work due to the pending charges.
