Man Charged, Accused Of Stealing DoorDasher’s Car, Leading Officers On Chase In NW OKC

A man has been charged after he was accused of stealing a DoorDasher’s car and leading police on a chase on Aug. 1 through northwest Oklahoma City.

What is the suspect charged with?

Court records said Kenneth Mosby has been charged with one count of first-degree robbery and one count of eluding police.

When and where did the robbery take place?

Oklahoma City Police said Kenneth Mosby pushed a female to the ground before stealing her car and leaving the scene at around 2 a.m. near Northwest 7th Street and North Hudson Avenue.

How did the pursuit end?

Police said they were able to track the vehicle down and performed a tactical maneuver to get him to stop near Northwest 35th Street and North Classen Boulevard.

The female victim was transported to the hospital to get checked out for a minor head injury, police said.

Mosby was arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center.
