Oklahoma Native Makes History As First Former NAIA Player To Join Pro Women's Softball Team

An athlete from an Oklahoma small town is taking off after becoming the first former NAIA player to sign a contract with a professional women's fastpitch league.

The Newcastle native is now a part of the Oklahoma City Spark. Emily Cerny told News 9's Bailey Holland that she never thought she could do what she loves professionally in her home state.
