16-Year-Old Dead After Pontotoc County Crash

A 16-year-old passenger is dead after a single-vehicle crash Friday morning in Pontotoc County.

The crash happened at around 3:30 a.m. near Lovelady Road and East 159 Street.

Troopers said a 14-year-old was driving southbound with two passengers when they departed the road and overturned for an unknown reason.

Troopers said the 16-year-old passenger was transported to OU Medical Center where they were pronounced dead.
