Oklahoma City Shooting Injures 1

One person was shot Monday morning on the west side of Oklahoma City, police said.

Oklahoma City Police said they responded to the scene shortly after 6 a.m. near North Rockwell Avenue and Melrose Lane.

Police said two employees were inside when the suspect confronted the employees while breaking in. One employee was assaulted, the other was shot in the hand, according to police.

OCPD said the victims were able to drive themselves to the hospital and are expected to be all right.

There is no information on a suspect at this time.
