High Winds Increase Wildfire Risk As Cold Front Arrives

The cold front is here! Strong north winds continue for the next several hours, but this still means high fire danger.

What is the weather like on Friday?

The winds will relax Friday evening, and highs will only be in the 70s for most!

It'll feel much cooler and finally back to a fall feel, with Friday night lows in the 30s and 40s along with a slight chance of isolated showers in far southeast Oklahoma.

On Saturday, look for sunny skies and highs in the 70s. Winds will be light.

Sunday will be hotter with highs back up to around 80 degrees.

On Monday, we will be close to record highs with very windy conditions and high fire danger.

The upper-level storm next week brings rain back to Oklahoma! Highs will be in the 60s as we head into November.
