A weak cold front continues to drift south, helping spark the gusty thunderstorms Saturday afternoon.
On Sunday, a light north wind brings the chance for spotty storms with highs in the 80s up north and near 100 at the Oklahoma-Texas border.
What will the weather look like on Saturday?
Winds speeds will be moderate and steady for the going into Saturday and have the potential of reaching 20 mph, with most of the metro staying between 10-15 mph.
A hot breeze will be prevalent during most of the day Saturday.
Storm chances continue to climb going further into the weekend, as there is a moderate possibility of rain, golf ball sized hail, and scattered thunderstorms going into Saturday evening throughout the northern areas of the metro.
What will the weather look like for the rest of the weekend?
Temperatures will stay dangerously hot throughout the rest of the weekend, with Sunday bringing temps of up to 100 degrees and wind speeds of up to 15-20mph.
Moving further into the weekend, temperatures are expected to cool a little as scattered storms move into the metro, bringing light to moderate showers and a cooler breeze.
