Temperatures stay hot this week, and this 4th of July looks hot into the afternoon. Showers and storms are also possible during the afternoon and evening on Thursday.
The rest of the state will be scorching hot Wednesday, but rain and clouds in the northwestern portion of the state will keep the summer heat under control.
What does the weather look like for the rest of the week?
The Fourth of July looks hot as well, but another front comes knocking. This one may have a better chance of popping up storms Thursday afternoon and evening.
Storm chances vary across the state, but the best chances reside in east-central Oklahoma.
Despite the possibility for storms later on Thursday, it will still be hot, so be prepared for triple-digit temps.
The best chance for rain will be along the front as it pushes south. This cold front will knock down the temperatures to highs in the 80s.
