The record-breaking cold temperatures move out just in time for the weekend!

What is the weather like this weekend?

Highs Saturday rebound into the upper 40s.

Highs on Saturday.

Sunday will be amazing with temps in the 60s across the state. We get even warmer from there.

Highs on Sunday.

Monday will be in the upper 60s and low 70s! Those temperatures are more like April than late February.

Highs on Monday.

Our next cold front moves in on Wednesday next week. It will be weak and will bring a slight chance for a few showers and storms. The highest chances will be in southeast Oklahoma.

Icy Roads and Lingering Hazards

Officials urge residents to limit time outdoors, dress in layers, and check on vulnerable neighbors and pets as the extreme cold persists.

Main highways and interstates are mostly dry today. Be careful walking to your car or checking your mail. Slips and falls are still very possible.

  1. Roads: Slick spots are likely, especially early in the week. Drive carefully!
  2. Pipes: Protect pipes from freezing by dripping faucets and insulating exposed lines.
  3. Pets & People: Limit time outdoors. Frostbite can set in within minutes in these conditions.
