Garvin County Man Arrested, Victim Found Shot In His Home

A victim was found shot inside their home in Garvin County on August 19. Deputies arrested a man in connection to the shooting.

David Towler, 65, has been arrested on charges of shooting with intent to kill, aggravated assault and battery with a deadly weapon and first-degree burglary.

Police believe that Towler went into the victim’s home and shot him.

The victim was transported in critical condition to a local hospital.

The Garvin County Sheriff’s Office worked with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
