John Kilpatrick Turnpike Lanes Reopen After Crash Caused Major Traffic Backup

A crash blocked all lanes of the John Kilpatrick Turnpike Tuesday morning near Yukon, causing a major traffic backup.

The southbound lanes of the turnpike near Northwest 23rd Street have since reopened, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

There were at least three vehicles involved, and traffic was stopped completely on the southbound lanes.

Troopers said no injuries were reported in the crash.

The cause of the crash is not yet known.
