Join Taste Of Asia's Annual Event Hosted By Asia Society Of Oklahoma

The Asia Society of Oklahoma will be hosting its annual Taste of Asia this weekend.

The News 9 team talked to pageant coordinator Nishita Shah and media coordinator Ira Burrough about the event.

Taste of Asia is an annual event hosted by the Asia Society of Oklahoma since the early 90s. It is well-known for its opportunity to sample the food of many Asian cultures, and in 2022 the event sold out with over 350 tickets sold.

The event on Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Mayfair Church of Christ in Oklahoma City.

Tickets are $20 for those 11 years and older, $15 for 5-10 year-olds, and free for children under 5 years old. The food tasting runs from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., followed by cultural performances from multiple countries.
