MPS Enhances Football Fan Safety With New Security Measures

Moore Public Schools is adding new security measures for football fans this season.

Fans will now have to walk through metal detectors to get into the stadium.

District leaders say this will likely cause long lines to get into games but will enhance safety and security for all fans, staff, and athletes.

Moore also has a small bag policy in place with clear bags preferred.

Prohibited items include knives, guns, backpacks and outside food and beverages.
