Balloon Release Honors Victim Of Deadly Choctaw Football Game Shooting

The community gathered to honor the life of Cordea Carter who was shot and killed at last Friday’s Choctaw football game.

The balloon release took place at Kiwanis Park near Southeast 15th Street and South Midwest Boulevard.

Family and friends gathered to hold hands and pray. They released blue and white balloons in Carter's honor.
