The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority said they are seeing issues with "Plate Pay."
The cashless tolling is costing millions because license plate numbers aren't being recognized.
That includes paper tags and some tribal plates.
The system that is supposed to send drivers a bill in the mail is also having trouble reading dirty or altered tags.
The OTA estimates they'll lose some $28 million on the cashless conversion which was first rolled out in 2021.
