Man Identified After Being Found In Tank At Oil Site

Oil company employee was identified Thursday as Darrell Deshaun Newton.

Newton died after being found unconscious in an oil tank, according to The McClain County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators believe the fumes from the tank, caused the 25-year-old man to become unconscious.

EMS performed CPR at the scene, and transported the man to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, deputies say.

The McClain County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death that occurred at Charter Oak Production Co., LLC.
