Edmond Man Accused Of Killing Parents To Appear In Court, Police Say

A man who police say killed his parents at their home in Edmond is expected to appear in court on Thursday, police say.

Edmond Police said Elijah Walker told them he believed his parents were Satan worshippers when he murdered them in 2019. Walker was 19-years-old at the time.

Walker is due in court and is facing two counts of first-degree murder.

Walker's sister said he needs treatment for his mental illness instead of time in prison.

"We all know what my parents would want for him," Walker's sister said. "They knew he was mentally ill, I know he was mentally ill.

Walker's hearing is set for 10 a.m.
