40-Year-Old Motorcycle Rider Killed In Turnpike Crash Near Blanchard

A motorcycle rider is dead after a crash north of Blanchard on the H.E. Bailey Turnpike Saturday night.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a 40-year-old rider stopped in the eastbound lanes for unknown reasons and was hit by a vehicle.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers responded to the crash in McClain County around 10 p.m.
