Busted Pipe Floods Street In NW Oklahoma City; Authorities On Scene

An underground pipe that burst in NW Oklahoma City on Sunday flooded a neighborhood street, authorities say.

The Oklahoma City Police Department said it happened at 55th and Western. A caller said an explosion was heard under the street, OCPD said.

Officers responded and determined a pipe had burst, flooding the street.

Police said city crews are on the way to work on the pipe and a restoration time is unknown.
